Simultaneously measured shifts in solar and telluric lines of solar spectrum help in revealing the effect of atmospheric instabilities on observations of solar line-of-sight velocities and in decreasing the errors. This paper begins investigations into a possible relationship between seeing and the spectrum of quasi-periodic shifts in telluric water and oxygen lines.
