摘要

In dredging process, there is a strong interaction between the cutter and the soil. It is very important to make an optimal design of the cutting tools and decrease the cost of a dredging project. Based on the 2-D cutting theory of Dr.Miedema, this article calculates the pressure distribution and the blade cutting forces for the saturated sand in the small cutting angles by using MATLAB. The results are similar with which of predecessor.
