NUKTI: English-Inuktitut Word Alignment System Description

Machine Translation (MT) as well asother bilingual applications stronglyrely on word alignment. Efficient alignmenttechniques have been proposedbut are mainly evaluated on pairs oflanguages where the notion of wordis mostly clear. We concentrated oureffort on the English-Inuktitut wordalignment shared task and report ontwo approaches we implemented and acombination of both.
