Pulmonary delivery of insulin: Solution vs. Dry Powder Formulation

This study is designed to compare and contrastthe absorption profiles of insulin afterpulmonary administration of solution and drypowder formulations. Pulmonary absorptionstudies were performed in rats. The resultssuggest that the dry powder formulation of thepeptide is more efficacious than the solutionformulation after pulmonary delivery.
