摘要

Many different types of tumour havepreviously been shown to over-express cell-surfacereceptors involved in the uptake of Vitamin B12 (VB12).We have examined the potential of using VB12 as atargeting agent for the delivery of pHPMA-conjugateddaunorubicin in four murine tumour models. VB12-targeted-Daunorubicin-HPMA conjugates were foundto increase both the number of survivors and thesurvival time of tumour-bearing mice. The data suggestthat VB12 may enhance the efficacy of polymer-boundcytotoxins in the treatment of many tumours.
