Crosslinking Effects on Size and Protein Release of Sodium Hyaluronate Microspheres

This work analyzes the effects of anaqueous based crosslinking chemistry usingadipic dihidrazide, on particle size and releaseof ovoalbumin from sodium hyaluronate (Hna)microspheres. The results show the relationshipamong crosslinking extension, size and proteinrelease, as well as the potentialities of Hnamicrospheres for nasal administration of drugs.
