The solubility of the model protein Lysozyme andPLGA in ternary solvent systems of dimethylsulfoxide (DMSO), ethyl acetate (EA) and waterwere investigated. Depending on theDMSO/EA/water ratio, dispersions or solutions of theprotein in the polymer solution were obtained. Themethod of incorporating Lysozyme into thePLGA/DMSO/EA/water mixtures affected the particlesize of resulting drug dispersions.
