Effective and Stable Production of Tumor-Carrying Animal Models Using Cell Sheet Engineering

摘要

In the present research, we applied cellsheet engineering technique for effectiveproduction of tumor-carrying animalmodels. Large lung carcinoma cellmonolayers cultured on thermoresponsivepoly(N-isopropylacrylamide) (PIPAAm)-grafted culture dishes were recovered bylow temperature inoculation and weretransplanted to nude mice. Large tumortissues are grown in all animals receivedtumor cell sheet transplantation, indicatingsuccessful production of tumor-carryinganimal models.
