With the development of the techniques of millimetre wave, TWT of millimetre wave is widely used. But its gain fluctuation in the operating bandwidth is too large to be satisfied in use. So we use millimetre wave equalizer to attenuate the gain of each frequency point of the TWT. This paper introduces the primary design of the core of equalizer which contains main transmission and resonator. The resonator is primarily analyzed and High Frequency Struture Simulation software(HFSS) is used to simulate the design modal .There is a new phenomena (the character of multi-frequencies)found during the process of simulation and primary analysis is made. On the basis of it, simulation parameter is reset and simulation is re-done.The result of simulation verifies that analysis of multiple frequencies is right. The character of multi-frequencies can be removed by reducing cavity length.It may provide some help in further research of millimeter wave equalizer.
