According to two-color temperature measurement theory, the on-line measurement of furnace temperature field for CFB boilers is realized using a CCD image sensor, an image acquisition card and computer image process technique. The two-color wavelengths are determined by modeling and simulation analysis. The methods of dividing section process of temperature field and increasing the system reliability are discussed. The simulation experiments have shown that the measurement error of the prototype is less than 15°C between the temperature ranges of 650°C~950°C. This system has the features of fast response and clear image display for temperature field, which can meet the requirements of temperature field measurement for CFB boilers.
