Intelligent tutoring systems have shown great promise in a variety of training domains. A Case-Based Reasoning Approach to Intelligent Maintenance Training System combines the former Intelligent Maintenance Training System with CBR. The tutoring system is designed around cases, Report develops the ITS architecture and mainly focus on the approach of domain knowledge representation, student model and training strategy, which are the more difficult modules in the system, and also discusses the main implement measures. This IMTS prototype is designed, using an object-oriented programming language. Because it is easily to update and extend its domain knowledge, this CBR-IMTS can be applied in many equipment maintenance training domains.
