摘要

The indoor humidity control is particularly important for improving indoor air quality and increasing working efficiency. A novel indoor humidity control system based on honeycomb rotary adsorber coated with the high adsorptive ability material can accurately control indoor humidity, and meet room thermal comfort demand. In this system, the performance of dehumidification and humidification of rotary adsorber is a key factor. The principle of humidity control system by rotary adsorber is systematically described. The power of dehumidification and humidification of adsorber is investigated numerically using a one-dimensional heat and mass transfer model of adsorber adding diffuse term into governing equations of adsorbent. And numerical results show that this system can satisfy demands of indoor humidity control both summer and winter, and dehumidify indoor air of 15m2 room below 35%(RH) in summer, and humidify above 45%(RH) in winter.
