摘要

The mechanism of the noise differences related to the grooves on spools is investigated. A novel apparatus to measurethe pressure distribution in valve is proposed, and the measurement error is analyzed. The experiment results are validated with theCFD results. The typical configuration of the groove has a typical pattern of the pressure distribution on the wall of grooves, and anon-dimensional resistance mathematical model is deduced. The study shows the noise characteristics of the groove has closerelation to the pattern of the pressure distribution, the groove with multi-stage orifice can significantly reduce the cavitation noise.With the increase of the pressure in the return chamber, the frequency of the maximum of the sound pressure level moves to higherfrequency band.
