The fluidic sprinkler is a kind of sprinkler with an output part not only discharging water, butalso controlling the forward, backward and step moving of the sprinkler. The sprinkler structure issimple, because it replaces the complex driving device with a simple fluidic component.The performance of fluidic sprinkler is compared with that of common impact sprinkler. As a result, thesprinkler range of fluidic sprinkler is hardly reduced, and some performances, such as distributionuniformity, size of water droplet and mist degree are superior to those of impact sprinkler.The constructions of fluidic sprinkler are summarized in this paper. Complete fluidic sprinkler isdeveloped from feedback fluidic sprinkler, which avoid the sensitivity of structure sizes. The workingprinciple and characteristics of complete fluidic sprinkler are introduced.Because of the simple structure and excellent performance, it is necessary to have a further researchon the fluidic sprinkler. The research should consider both the internal and external properties, andfinally get its optimal design for multiple objectives and multiple constraints.
