Biogas is a low cost solution to rural energy problem and becomes more potential inChina. When a biogas plant is built, suitable thermal insulation layers and heat system shouldbe used to provide a ferment temperature(such as 40°C).In China biogas productivity of mostrural small biogas plant without heat system fluctuates with environmental temperature. Whenferment biomass temperature fluctuates above ±5°C, biogas productivity decreases greatly.When biomass temperature is low to 20°C under, the plant stops product biogas. On the otherhand, when biomass temperature is too high, vaccine will be killed. Thus, biomass temperaturemust be controlled to ensure high biogas productivity. In this paper, a heat circulation system isproposed to control biomass temperature. Biogas is combust to heat water, some of water ispumped to house heating and washing, other is pumped to heat pipe exchanger to controlbiomass temperature for the little axial temperature difference. The temperature consistentcharacteristics can stabilize biogas productivity. The evaporation section and condensationsection of heat pipe is separated, condensation section of heat pipe can be installed in biomasspond, thermal insulation layers separates the condensation section and evaporation section.Control the temperature of water through evaporation section can control biomass temperature.
