The paper analyzes the development and actuality as well as the existing problems ofthe Forage Grass Desiccation Technology & Complete Equipment both in domestic and abroad.Stressed the desiccation equipment is the key point in development high grade forage grass inChina, and point out that it is very necessary to study a new desiccation technology and newequipment. Furthermore, the paper describes in details on our academy’s research in the field ofthe forage grass desiccation technology & complete equipment by using solar energy withalternate heating supply. We have got some innovations in the following fields, such as solarheat plate collector with high transform efficiency, alternative heating power supply systemduring the day and night, compound solar heat collection system of plate heat collector combinewith vacuum glass tube heat collector, warm wind blowing system with air distributing screen,desiccation storehouse with eight units which can provide automaticloading---desiccating---unloading for processing the forage grass. Meanwhile, the paper pointout this technology and equipment have highlight advantages of low cost and energy saving aswell as no pollution, and it has prosperity for popularization and application in the future.
