Supply management practices have received great attention in both the popular literature andacademic journals. Since the emergence of the term "Supply Chain Management" more and morecompanies are becoming interested in studying and adopting practices that would enable them tobetter compete in the market place. We investigate here the effect of some of the most prominentsupply management practices on select firm competitive capabilities such as product innovationand quality.
