Incorporating Safety Measurement into PSM

摘要

A framework for the development of measurements to support the practice and management of system safety onprojects is proposed. Reported work has been undertaken by a Technical Working Group of the Practical Softwareand Systems Measurement (PSM) project of the US DoD, to which the authors have contributed. The generalapproach taken is reviewed, with a rationale, and prospective measurement proposals are made. The paperconcludes with an appraisal and a recommendation for further development.
