摘要

Several applications of wavelet analysis to problems of structural health monitoring have been developed. The study presented in this article is focused on an indicator for the detection of structural damage in reinforced concrete structures. The indicator is based on the analysis of signal energy components in discrete time–scale domain. The results of an experimental study suggest a relatively high sensitivity of the proposed indicator in the case of an appropriate selection of analysed wavelet coefficients.
