Air-Interface Algorithm Emulation for High Speed Portable Internet Systems

The time-frequency synchronization and channel estimation algorithm play an important role for the implement of OFDM systems. Based on the special preamble structure of the downlink frame, a time-frequency synchronization algorithm is proposed. Meanwhile, the channel estimation based on preambles and pilot subcarriers is presented. The emulation results show that the proposed algorithms improve the system performance dramatically compared with the conventional scheme.
