In this paper, the bit error rate (BER) of BPSK with a four-state serially concatenated convolutional code (SCCC) with AWGN and pulsed-noise jamming transmitted over Rayleigh fading channels is examined. For low signal-to-noise ratios (SNR), simulation results are used, while for higher signal-to-noise ratios, an average upper bound is developed. Results show that Rayleigh fading is not as detrimental when a SCCC is used as compared to the uncoded case. Similar to the non-fading case, pulsed-noise jamming is more effective at higher signal-to-jamming noise ratios (SJR), while channel information is more useful at lower SNRs
