Both experimental and numerical studies of self-frustratedtriangular array of pi-junctions are reported. The array of SFS Josephsonjunctions shows transition to the pi-state and self-frustration with thetemperature decrease. It manifests itself in a half-period shift of the biascritical current versus applied magnetic field. At temperatures close tothe 0-π transition this dependence shows doubling of its periodicityfrequency that can be explained by 0-π bi-stability of the SFSjunctions. The change in the array behavior with number of unit cells hasbeen studied by means of numerical simulation.
