摘要

The quenching cross sections of ~4He(2~1S, 2~1P) and ~3He(2~1S, 2~1P) states by collisions with Ne (~1S_0) atoms are investigated by a time resolved method. The influence of different processes involved in population or depopulation of these states was evaluated. The quenching cross section for ~3He(2~1P) and ~3He(2~1S) states by Ne(~1S_0) atoms are σ_(2~1P) = (2.91+-0.61 )x 10~(-15) cm~2 and σ_(2~1S) = (1.03 +- 0.04)x10~(-15) cm~2 respectively and for ~4He(2~1P) and ~4He(2~1S) states-σ_(2~1P) = (1.84+-0.45)x10~(-15)cm~2 and σ_(2~1S) = (8.62+-0.3)x10~(-16)cm~2 respectively.
