Development of a Simulator for Social Dynamics and Agent-Based Models

We developed a simulator calledDecision-Space-Explorer for developingSocio-Informatica, a digital library systemintegrating academic papers with the socialdynamics models and multi-agent models theyexplain. The integration will allow researchersto do double-checks of a model in a paperbecause it contains all the necessary informationfor double-checks in terms of Social Dynamicsand Agent-Based Approach. The ability todouble-check can be a tool for sharingknowledge in the humanities and social sciencesbased on social dynamics and multi-agentmodels. We provide examples and roughevaluations using the simulator for SDM andABM respectively to demonstrate itscharacteristics. We also provide a set ofprograms using genetic algorithm (GA) tovalidate a model in SDM and ABM.
