摘要

The wavelet transform is a powerful tool that cuts up signal or functions into different frequency components, and then studies each component with a resolution matched to its scale. However, how to study these components? This paper addresses the construction of morphological wavelets by combining wavelet with mathematical morphology. First, the multidimensional multi-channel lifting scheme, a general framework of multidimensional morphological wavelet construction, is presented. Then one-dimensional and multi-dimensional multi-channel median morphological wavelets are constructed with median operator.
