In this study, ECR-glass fiber which has been recognized as anticorrosive glass, reinforced GFRP pipe was investigated by the stress relaxation test under water and acid conditions. The application of the time-temperature superposition principle (TTSP) was discussed in order to establish the lifetime prediction method. TTSP could be applied so that a smooth master curve was obtained under water conditions. Accordingly the stiffness of the pipe after 100years can be predicted. The test result under acid conditions was similar to that under water. The acid stress corrosion which is very common phenomenon in the case of E glass fiber reinforced plastics was not observed. The design method of the pipe using the result of stress relaxation test was discussed.
