Compatibility between prior and likelihood distributions and weighting in Bayesian approach applied to reliability assessment

This paper deals with the problem of compatibility between the prior and likelihood distributions, when we use the Bayesian statistics. We define a weighting factor to correct the prior distribution if it is a wrong one. This approach is applied to evaluating the reliability level of the binomial mortality system.
