NOVEL CR-GASTRORETENTIVE DOSAGE FORMS: EVALUATION OF GASTRORETENTIVITY IN DOGS

摘要

Novel gastroretentive dosage forms (GRDFs) were developed, their mechanical properties were evaluated in-vitro, and their gastroretentivity was assessed in-vivo in dogs. It was found that gastroretentivity was achieved by combining high mechanical properties with extended geometrical dimensions.
