AN INVESTIGATION INTO FACTORS AFFECTING SOLVENT CHANGE CO-PRECIPITATION OF HYDROXYPROPYL METHYLCELLULOSE PHTHALATE WITH A POORLY WATER-SOLUBLE DRUG

摘要

An investigation was made into factors affecting solvent change co-precipitation of hydroxypropyl methylcellulose phthalate with a poorly soluble drug. Statistically significant factors were% drug in drug-polymer mixture added into the solvent, stirrer speed, and anti-solvent pH. These factors entered a central composite study, that yielded a mathematical process model.
