A SUSTAINED RELEASE ORAL FORMULATION OF VINPOCETINE COMPLEXED WITH CYCLODEXTRINS

摘要

Vinpocetine is a drug used due to its antisclerotic activity. However it has poor bioavailability by its slight aqueous solubility. An increasing in its solubility through complexation with cyclodextrins was achieved. With the aim of reducing the adverse side effects and slowing the release, extended release matrix tablets were prepared.
