摘要

Communication is an important component in human interaction. Effective communication strategies are key to reach a successful adjustment to any social context; they also are needed to build a positive, reinforcing and motivating social atmosphere. Teaching and learning occur in social contexts and because of that interaction is needed. Many times the success of a particular course or learning activity depends on the abilities and strategies participants put into practice to communicate effectively; by doing so knowledge and positive attitudes towards each other can be built. E-learning is affected by the grade people are able to put into practice these abilities through writing. In virtual learning environments messages shall be express by writing, which adds complexity to communication and interaction. Some people are not able to express themselves accurately by writing and some others are not even conscious of the many messages a person can be transmitting when writing a single paragraph: opinions, attitudes and emotions, among other.
