PREPARATION AND CHARACTERIZATION OF THICK FILMS OF Au-, Pd-, Pt-DOPED SnO_2 FOR GAS SENSING

摘要

The Sensors and Semiconductors Laboratory at the Physics Department of Ferrara University manufactures solid-state gas sensors with a ISO9001 quality compliance. The development of SnO_2-based nanostructured powders through sol-gel technique and the preparation of thick-film sensing layers will be described. Microstructural and electrical characterizations have been carried out with the aim to achieve high-performing sensing layers for environmental monitoring applications.
