This study investigates the Computer Assisted Instruction (CAI) of motion analysis education in the rehabilitation field. The long term goals for elderly persons or patients include keeping up activities of daily living and recovering from disabilities. Therefore, observational motion analysis abilities have been important for rehabilitation co-medical students, such as physical therapists. The education by the teacher mainly provided the co-medical students with only basic knowledge to understand the mechanisms. But ability and skill have not been fully developed in college education. We think the enable making of new teaching materials to be some skilled learning can be incorporated with a simulated experiment, such as CAI motion analysis. To develop the ability by self learning on WWW, we made a motion analysis education system by CAI for physical therapy students. This CAI is a simulated experimental environment on WWW. They can check whether their results come from their own knowledge or by chance, when their correct answer percentage reaches 100% or they answer more than 11 times. The CGI program that indicates the correct answer percentage, the detailed explanations about the answers, and the number of answers was developed by Perl.
