EVALUATION OF THE SEISMIC BEHAVIOR OF DIAPHRAGMS IN A TWO-STORY PRECAST CONCRETE BUILDING TESTED UNDER SIMULATED SEISMIC LOADING

摘要

This paper describes research on the seismic response of diaphragms in precast concretebuildings incorporating a dual system. A half scale, two-story precast dual system specimenrepresenting a parking structure in Mexico City was studied in this research. The specimenwas tested in a laboratory under simulated seismic loading up to failure. Seismic designcriteria and code implications for diaphragms resulting from this research are discussed in thepaper.
