摘要

The experiments are carried out to corroborate a practical capability ofcoastal water ecological monitoring by ground-based radars at small yaw angles.The K- and X-band radars are used. The radar antennas are installed on acover of a building at altitude 27 m from a sea surface on a distance about 1.2km from shores. The K-band radar provides a rather high performance undergood weather conditions. By tests natural parentage slicks are utilized, that isreasonable by an economic feasibility. Such slicks are located, for example,near to islands, where sylvan shielding looses the wind, and roughness is less,than on the high seas. The reason of natural slicks use as oil pollution models isobvious because of like influence on marine surface concluded in smoothing ofrather short waves. A perspective problem is to detect artificial floods simulatingoil slicks. The slick radar detection is made basing on the spatial, temporal,frequent and polarizing characteristics analysis of echo-signals. The summationof signals and radar images allows finding out small contrast slicks.
