The advent of electronic commerce has brought about astounding changes in the corporate environment and the way organizations conduct their business. One effective way to study these changes is to analyze the transformations that have occurred in the corporate value chain due to e-commerce. The purpose of this paper is to present cases of major companies in which value chain has significantly been revised to take advantage of e-commerce technologies. Major areas of value chain that have been affected are identified, and a summary of the findings from these case studies is presented.
