We examine product-based profiles in supply chain management, using Fisher's (1997) framework to guide data collection. Preliminary analysis indicates differences in supply chain management profiles between high and low performers in innovative and functional producers, respectively. No significant differences were found between 'innovative' and 'functional' producers. Implications are discussed. Introduce the paper with an abstract of approximately 100 words.
