Three series of titania based phot°Catalysts were tested in the photolytic hydrogengeneration from water in the presence of methanol. Photocatalytic tests were performedboth under artificial illumination as well as under solar irradiation. Differentlyconstructed photoreactors were tested in phot°Catalytic hydrogen formation. Allcatalysts were characterized with XRD, thermogravimetry, surface properties and Pt orNi dispersion measured via hydrogen chemisorption. The best performace was foundfor catalysts based on platinized titania-yttria systems both under arificial and naturalirradiation.
