Processing of Palmprint Image

摘要

In order to ensure the performance of an automatic palmprint identification/verification system, a valid palmprint enhancement algorithm is proposed to extract all the valuable lines in palmprint. The results given at the end of the paper show that the curves in the processed palmprint are clear and almost all noises have been eliminated, and the enhancement algorithm is very effective and also applicable to the low-resolution palmprint images.
