The elastic limit loads of infinite thin-plate containing a circular hole and half-plane plate supporting a uniformly distributed load are analyzed by used unified strength theory. The universal solutions are given. The elastic limit loads of various materials can be obtained by choosing different parameters b and α. The results of various single strength theories are the special cases for result in this paper.
