摘要

A method of measuring part sizes by geometrical fitting with subpixel accuracy that is less than 1/10 pixel is proposed in this paper. First of all, the geometrical position and size of different kinds of edge shapes with pixel accuracy are gotten by convolution of LOG operator and image. Then fitting equation is obtained by using of least square method. The algorithm also can be used to detect incomplete or disintegrated shapes.
