Supervision system for a waste water treatement plant

the effect of unknown perturbations or occurrence of faults can alter Performances of industrial processes. One way to prevent performances from degradation is to develop a supervision system having some capabilities to maintain the functioning of the process under acceptable operating conditions. In this paper, a fault accommodation module for the supervision system is presented. The closed loop system is modelised by means of clustering approach. The accommodation module generates new set points or control parameters values for the degraded process. This approach has been successfully applied to a centrifugation process.
