摘要

Fault detection is a difficult task in the induction motor case, as it is necessary to distinguish between the normal parameter deviations and the abnormal ones. The aim of this paper is to apply and to compare two methods in order to detect and to discriminate between resistance and inductance variations: the first one uses the analytical redundancy, and the second one uses the wavelet transform.
