It is evident from recent failures and past successes of various e-businesses (or dot-coms) that it is important to have a well-designed and well though-out strategy not only to acquire initial customers but to keep good customers coming back through a well-developed customer relationship management. This paper outlines one part of this equation, that is, designing an e-commerce presence that adapts to changes in customer-base and product-base over time.
