Dynamically Updating an Executing Process

摘要

The ability to update an executing process dynamically has been the subject of much past research. The solutions provided by previous researchers were operating system specific and required custom software development environments or complex development practices. In this paper we present a novel solution that does not require the complicated systems or the infrastructure of previous solutions. Our solution has been implemented in FreeBSD, a widely available and free Unix operating system.
