This paper illustrates a time and frequency domain design procedure for WDFs with finite word length coefficients. Among the different wave digital filters such as Unit element Ladder and Lattice filter only preceding two filters have been considered for study. Using simple iteration equations and FFT, the impulse responses and frequency responses are obtained for the time and frequency domain. The quantization error is minimized by optimization algorithm and obtained the finite coefficient for time domain design.
