Point Resource System in Digital City RGIS

摘要

This paper points out the GIS common failing of using topographic maps with little information and suggests RGIS (Remote-sensing GIS) in which RS information is the main content. It catches the general view of the whole city by RS technology in the Point Resource System(PRS)and takes high resolution RS Images as GIS basic platform directly. It builds up a large-scale aerial RS digital information field and city can being have a general picture with characteristics of the city on Infor-Net there are using PRS methods in RGIS.
