A New Method of Suppressing Periodic Interference in PD Monitoring On-line

In the paper, we analyze periodic interference in PD wide bandwidth monitoring on line and its characteristics. A suitable method of rejecting periodic interference in PD wide bandwidth monitoring on line through direct wave trap filter is proposed. The principle and design methods are discussed. Experiment results are given. The results prove the method novel and effective. In filter process it is possible to compress the data and to extract the characteristics value.
