LAUNCH VEHICLE SEPARABLE PARTS AND SPACE DEBRIS IMPACT AREAS SIZE ESTIMATIONS

摘要

The paper presents a method of impact area estimate for separable parts of launch vehicles and for space debris. Comparison of design data and empirical ones obtained from operations of Yuzhnoye SDO's launch vehicles is presented, too. The design changes are proposed to reduce dimensions of impact areas.
