摘要

This paper describes a new steelmaking process, which enables the volume of steelmaking slag greatly reduced. To minimize the steelmaking slag, silicon content of hot metal should be reduced to lower level to obtain higher lime utilization charged in the following dephosphorization. The total amount of steelmaking slag has been decreased by half than the before introducing the new process.
